Armstrong (1816-1888) and Claudius Buster (1816-1889) for their military service, particularly in the Woll campaign and the Mier Expedition from Texas into Mexico; together with biographical sketches, an excerpt from a letter from Claudius Buster containing a narrative of his experience during the Mier Expedition, and a typescript copy of an article using the same letter as a source.
